In his project for point d’ironie, Buche presents a series of photographs and documents, confiding:
That’s how my life was, that’s how my life could have been. Those were the times when the people on my pictures still had something to laugh about. That’s how everything looked when I was seeing with my other eyes and everything was good. Friends, places, relics: everything invented and snitched. That’s the way you are rich and get presents without owning anything. You are cheery and happy without being.
Tobias Buche (born 1978 Berlin) studied visual communication and fine arts at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, where he lives and works today.
