From Point d'ironie to the highway of puberty. Rosemarie Trockel relates the episode in oddly antiquated language, and in French translation this becomes even odder, oscillating between fiction and factual report. Puberty as a transitional stage, a phase of uncertainties, of displacements or derangements, in which sexuality and personality are redefined. And yet, in the story, the girl appears highly decisive and self-assured.
